Manage applications
You can configure the MCM server to install the BigFix agent and other applications on , Windows, macOS, Android, and Apple mobile devices during enrollment or after the devices have been enrolled with MCM.
- Pre-stage BigFix agent for Windows and macOS devices
- Define managed configurations for Android and Apple mobile devices
- Enable or disable the VPP capability to manage apps on Apple mobile devices
- Add, remove, view, and manage apps through your App Catalog
- Create, manage, and deploy an Appstore App Policy to manage apps on the MCM enrolled mobile devices
Viewing and filtering installed applications
WebUI allows you to view and filter devices based on installed applications, enabling better visibility and control over endpoint application security and compliance. By leveraging the Installed Applications feature, IT admins can efficiently manage endpoint security, enforce compliance policies, and gain deeper insights into software usage across the organization.

From the WebUI Devices page, select an MDM managed device from the list.

On the Device Information page, under the MDM representation section of the device, you can view the installed applications under Applications or Installed Applications

- Installed Applications column in Devices grid
- Customize devices data grid to show the installed applications specific to the supported
operating systems.
- On the Manage column screen, in the Source column, select BES UEM Mobile and/or BESUEM
- In the Property name, search for applications.
- Select one or more properties according to the desired operating
system.
- As per the selection, Applications and/or Installed Applications columns are displayed in the Devices grid.
- The column specific to the operating system displays the number of applications installed on each device.
- Click on the number link to see the list of installed
applications.

In the Devices grid, enter the application name in the Applications and/or Installed Applications columns. It filters and displays all devices where the app is installed. You can Use this filtered list to:

Identify devices running unauthorized or outdated apps.

Apply security policies based on installed applications.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards.
