PP_ADDITIONAL_SITES Details

Formatting Fixlets to be Included in Patch Policies using the _WebUI_AppEnv_PP_ADDITIONAL_SITES setting:

To be included in a Patch Policy, fixlets must have at minimum the following fields: Title, Relevance, Category, and Source Severity. There must also be a MIME field with the key x-fixlet-product indicating the OS, and for fixlets targeting Windows systems, an x-fixlet-product-family field. Fixlets must also have a default action.

Relevance: This should be a Bigfix relevance clause determining which devices in your environment are relevant to the given fixlet.

Category: This field should have a value matching those listed in the Fixlet Category column of the Patch Policy Category table here: https://help.hcl-software.com/bigfix/11.0/platform/Platform/WebUI_Users_Guide/c_patch_policy_overview.html#c_patch_policy_overview__section_jjh_3cj_ctb

MIME Fields: Windows fixlets should have an x-fixlet-product-family MIME field with the value “Windows”. All fixlets should also have an x-fixlet-product field indicating the OS they should be included with. Acceptable values for each are included in the tables below.
