About this task

Forced uninstallation of previous scanner versions.

This task is used to forcibly remove the old scanner installations without checking if the scanner is used only by BigFix or IBM software.

It removes the scanner from following directories:

Windows:
  • C:\Program Files\tivoli\cit
  • <BES Client>\CITBin
  • Any location pointed by file: C:\windows\cit\cit.ini
Linux
  • /opt/tivoli/cit
  • <BES Client>/CITBin
  • Any location pointed by file: /etc/cit/cit.ini
