Starting the server
You can start the BigFix InventoryLicense Metric Tool server by running the
srvstart.bat
or srvstart.sh
script.
Starting the server on Linux
To start the server, run the srvstart.sh
script.
Before you begin
Procedure
- Optional:
Check if your DB2® instance is running.
- Log on to the computer where DB2® is installed. You must be a DB2® instance owner.
- Type db2start at the command line.
- Go to the BigFix InventoryLicense Metric Tool installation directory.
- Open the cli directory.
- Run srvstart.sh.
Starting the server on Windows
To start the server, run the srvstart.bat
script.
Procedure
- Optional:
Check if your SQL Server instance is running.
- Log on to the computer where the SQL Server® is installed. You must have administrative privileges or be an SQL Server service owner.
- Start the SQL Server instance. For more information, see: Start, Stop, Pause, Resume, Restart SQL Server Services.
- Go to the BigFix InventoryLicense Metric Tool installation directory.
- Open the cli directory.
- Run srvstart.bat.
