HCL AppScan Source Database Configuration: Oracle

The AppScan® Source Database configuration panel displays if you have chosen to install the AppScan Enterprise Server, but not AppScan Source Database, in the Server Component Selection panel. The AppScan Enterprise Server requires a database server. If you do not install the database using the installation wizard, you will need to configure a remote database that the Enterprise Server can connect to, using the AppScan Source Database Configuration panel.

Procedure

In the HCL® AppScan Source Database Configuration panel:

1. Select Oracle as the Server Type.
2. Identify the Connection String, for example //<hostname>:<port>/<OracleServiceName>.
3. Identify the DB User Name and DB Password.
4. Click Next to advance to the next installation panel.
